Emir of Qatar returns back with his 2 Airbus A340s

Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, returned to his homeland after a two-day state visit to Nepal. High-ranking officials, including President Ramchandra Poudel, bid him farewell at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday. With him the 4 new private jets that visited Nepal have also returned.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani had arrived Nepal in an Airbus A340 aircraft ‘A7-HHH’ and another same type of Standby aircraft ‘A7-HHK’. The two airbus A340 aircraft personally configured for a private VVIP version for him landed Nepal yesterday and departed in the early afternoon today.

The associates aircraft arrived in Kathmandu in two private jet aircrafts on Monday and Tuesday morning on a different aircraft. These were the Gulfstream G650 aircraft that carried the necessary equipments and personnel to handle the 2 Airbus A340 aircraft in Kathmandu.
