The collaboration between Shree Airlines, Temple Trip Group India, and Siddharth Hospitality Group has made the Kailash and Manasarovar mountain flight, conducted at an altitude of 27,000 feet from Nepalgunj, possible.

The airlines, providing window seats to 35 passengers, offer views of Kailash Mountain and Manasarovar during the journey. Additionally, there is a plan to include a visit to Pashupatinath in Kathmandu as part of the itinerary for those traveling to Kailash and Manasarovar from Nepalgunj.

All passengers can enjoy the window seat and witness the divine Mount Kailash in this mountain flight and absorb the holy power of the most sacred mountain in the world.

Mount Kailash, standing tall in the remote and rugged landscapes of Tibet, is a sacred mountain revered by multiple religious traditions. At an elevation of 22,028 feet (6,714 meters), it is a part of the Transhimalaya Range and is considered the holiest peak in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon, an ancient Tibetan religion. The unique pyramid-like shape of Mount Kailash and its distinct features contribute to its spiritual significance. The mountain is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva in Hinduism, a place of meditation for Buddha Demchok in Tibetan Buddhism, and the residence of the sky goddess Sipaimen in the Bon religion. Pilgrims from India, Nepal, Tibet, and beyond undertake the arduous trek around Mount Kailash, known as the Kailash Parikrama or Kora, as a sacred ritual, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth.

Adding to its mystique, Mount Kailash is the source of four major rivers: the Indus, the Brahmaputra, the Sutlej, and the Karnali. Its remote location and challenging terrain have limited human habitation in the vicinity, contributing to the aura of sanctity that surrounds the mountain. Despite its spiritual significance, the Chinese government has restricted climbing Mount Kailash to preserve its cultural and environmental importance. The awe-inspiring beauty and spiritual allure of Mount Kailash continue to captivate the hearts and minds of those who seek profound connections with nature and divinity.
