Yeti Airlines 2 new ATR 72s to arrive Nepal this weekend
The airline has successfully secured two ATR 72 planes from Novoair Airlines, with one anticipated to arrive in Nepal either on Friday.
Yeti Airlines, a key player in the Nepalese aviation industry, has recently made significant strides by deciding to acquire two ATR 72 aircraft in its present fleet of ATR. The carrier has made final preparations to welcome the new aircrafts home which it bought from Novoair Airlines in Bangladesh. The decision to expand the fleet comes as part of Yeti Airlines’ broader strategy to establish a stronger presence in competitive markets. The airline has successfully secured two ATR 72 planes from Novoair Airlines, with one anticipated to arrive in Nepal either on Friday or Saturday, and the second expected a few days later.

Commencing operations on September 21, 1998, Yeti Airlines initially operated with nine-seater BN-2B Islander aircraft. Over the years, the airline has evolved and currently conducts domestic flights with a fleet of five ATR aircraft, catering to the growing demand for air travel within Nepal.
