Gulmi (Ressunga) airport is going to see 3 flights a week from now on.
Nepal Airlines has decided to add another flight on Mondays in addition to the flights on Wednesdays and Fridays, which were already scheduled. This information was provided by the station chief of Rukum’s airport, Suman Thapa.
The Mayor of Rukum Municipality, Khil Bahadur Panthi, mentioned that due to increased demand from passengers, an additional flight has been coordinated with Nepal Airlines. He said, “With the increase in passenger demand, we have started another flight. In the coming days, further coordination with the airlines will be made based on passenger demand.”
Nepal Airlines operates a plane with an 18-seat capacity for flights between Kathmandu and Ressunga every Wednesday and Friday morning. The fare for Kathmandu-Ressunga route is set at NPR 7,280, and for Ressunga-Kathmandu route, it is also NPR 7,280. Ressunga Airport is situated approximately five kilometers away from the Tamghas Bazaar.
