The charge sheet has been filed in the Special Court at Kathmandu.

According to Namahari Ghimire, spokesperson for CIAA, the legal action came to serve after an investigation exposed that Shah had allegedly submitted fake certificates to secure his promotion from the position of Junior Captain to the Eighth level – Captain.

The investigation conducted by CIAA revealed that Capt. Samrat B. Shah had produced fraudulent documents, illustrating to have completed his intermediate level with first division honors at VSJ Inter College in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
