Aviotrace Nepal to Host EASA Part-147 Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Examinations in September

Kathmandu, July 2026 – Aviotrace Nepal School of Technology (ANST) has announced that it will host the EASA Part-147/Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) examinations from September 2 to September 6, 2026, providing aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers in Nepal with an opportunity to take internationally recognized licensing examinations without leaving the country.

The examinations will be conducted under International Aviation Training (IAT), Italy, an EASA Part-147 Approved Maintenance Training Organisation, with ANST serving as the host institution in Nepal.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is one of the most important professions in the aviation industry, as licensed engineers are responsible for ensuring that aircraft are maintained in accordance with international safety standards before they are cleared for flight. The EASA Part-66 licensing system is recognized across many countries and is regarded as one of the world’s most respected aircraft maintenance licensing frameworks.

ANST, located at Pipalbot, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has been working to provide internationally focused aviation education in Nepal. The institution is affiliated with International Aviation Training (IAT), Italy, recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), and approved by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), Government of Nepal.
