At least 2 dead after a plane crash lands in Highway of Florida

During an attempt to make an emergency landing on the Southbound lanes of I-75, the aircraft collided with a car and subsequently caught fire.

A Bombardier Challenger 604, belonging to Hop-A-Jet based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, crashed during its approach to Naples Airport on Friday afternoon. The twinjet, en route from The Ohio State University Airport in Columbus to Southwest Florida, is reported to have experienced dual engine failure and went down approximately three kilometers East/Northeast of the airport on Interstate I-75.

During an attempt to make an emergency landing on the Southbound lanes of I-75, the aircraft collided with a car and subsequently caught fire. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed two fatalities in the car. According to the FAA, there were five individuals aboard the jet. There condition of those inside the aircraft has yet to be officially released while local media reports are saying there are survivors from the jet.
