Air Dynasty Helicopter Crash Site - Aviation in Nepal

Five people have died in an Air Dynasty helicopter crash in Suryachaur, Nuwakot. According to a police officer involved in the rescue operation, the deceased include four men and one woman. The passengers were Chinese citizens according to the preliminary information and the names are Zhudad Tang, Ji Li Jeming Si, Yiyad Wu (Female).

The helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM. Contact with the helicopter was lost from Shivapuri ridge. According to the police officer, the helicopter crashed at Suryachaur in Shivapuri-7. “The crash site is engulfed in flames, and it is currently inaccessible,” he said. The crash site is around 13 KM North of Kathmandu Valley.

Narayan Pandey, the ward secretary of Shivapuri-7, also confirmed the crash. He mentioned that the helicopter fell on a fog-covered ridge. The pilot in command of the Air Dynasty helicopter was Capt. Arun Malla.
